The Seven Hermetic Laws of Truth are interwoven with the science and art
of Sacred Geometry from the most
ordinary to the most profound experiences of life. During this evening
with
New Frontiers co-founder, Bruce Rawles, we will embark on a multimedia
journey through the dimensions of sacred geometry; exploring proportions,
context
and relationships, archetypes & numerical symbolism, an overview of
2D, 3D and higher dimensional forms, illusion-busting with a philosophers
perspective and an in depth look at the insights of Hermetic Laws as they
apply to our lives. These laws provide a master key to unraveling the inspiration
and intuition we receive from the great creative principle which sustains
us, helping us to navigate through a world of seeming paradox, confusion
and perplexity. Modern discoveries in higher dimensional math and physics
are corroborating the inner wisdom mystics have been saying for millennia,
and we'll have plenty of visuals to accompany these revelations.
Bruce Rawles has researched what has become known as sacred geometry since
the early 70's. He is the author of Sacred
Geometry Design Sourcebook, - Universal Dimensional Patterns, which
has been published in both English and German.
He will compress some of the highlights of the insights and imagery of these
3 decades into about 3 hours of mystical multimedia tutorials, appropriate
for any degree of familiarity with sacred geometry.
This evening overview (expanded upon in the day-long workshop) will cover
the basic concepts, philosophy, history, luminaries, elements, dimensions,
numerical symbolism, proportions, cosmic magnitudes, perspectives, primal
archetypes, quintessential mirrors, Hermetic Laws and the myriad ways that
the Golden Ratio is our living metaphor for interconnectedness; this IS
the alchemy DaVinci was coding, after all!
We will navigate a high velocity fly by of the vast two-dimensional realm;
there really IS a lot one can put on a plane, despite baggage restrictions
:-) This will be a multi-cultural visual exploration of circular, vesical & spiral forms, polygons, tesselations & Islamic tilings, all sorts
of mandalas, fractals, and other planar geometries. We'll explore the morphic
language of crop circles and classical "how to" constructions
(golden rectangle, inscribed pentagon, Flower of Life, etc.) that can be
created with compass and straightedge.
Then we'll consider spherical, toroidal, helical, and other 3D forms and
recursions as well as a dazzling plethora of polyhedra and how these topologies
relate to life as we know it. We'll explore the Great Pyramid, Martineau's
Solar System breakthroughs, rainbow bodies and Heart Frequencies, with
local premieres of many ray-traced and other unique animations.
