I'm the author of debut novel "Swimming Naked with Jellyfish." My well-reviewed autobiographical novel won the distinguished Eric Hoffer International Awards, 2009 Finalist Montaigne Medal for Thought Provoking Books and for Excellence in Independent Publishing. I'm currently writing the sequel. I also authored and illustrated the popular "Islands" series of coloring/poem books. The first was "Islands, A Coloring Book for Adults, 30 Drawings, 30 Poems," selling on Amazon since 2002. This unique book sold in the Katonah Museum of Art Gift Shop. The second in the series is "Islands, A Coloring Book for Teens and Kids, 30 Hand-Drawn Drawings, 30 Poems and Recipes." All books sell on Amazon.com. I'm currently writing the third "Islands" book.
I instruct three workshops: Fast Track Memoir Writing Workshop—The Vignette Method, How to Self-Publish Fiction and Nonfiction Books—An Information Gathering Lab and Writing Simply Workshop, all in the New York area.
