I have been on one heck of a roller coaster journey but have finally found something that I think will give me much satisfaction and also help a group of women in Pokhara, Nepal. I have very recently opened my own business and am working with Chetana Women Skills Development, a non profit NGO in Pokhara, Nepal. The women that work there get a fair wage and learn a skill that they can take into a future for themselves and their children, a future they might never have had if not for the kind heart of a beautiful Nepali Woman, Tara who opened this project in 2008. Chetana means~opening the mind through education. These women's children can now get the education they so rightly deserve as their mothers can now pay the school fees. The more work that comes their way, the more women they can hire and more families can be helped. I have designed a yoga mat bag and it will be woven skillfully and with love by these beautiful women. The bags are 100% organic one-of-a-kind cotton. I am heading to Pokhara at the end of Feb/2012. I will be helping with the whole process from beginning to end and documenting through vidoe and pictures on my Facebook page....if you would like to help, please buy a bag and follow this beautiful, humbling journey on my Facebook page www.facebook.com/nilo.aakaash
