Biography: Dame Alice Sorrell-Thompson

Dame Alice Sorrell-Thompson, MBA, RN has extensive background in the field of Community Health Nursing. Her 25 year tenure as a Registered Nurse has provided her the opportunity to work with at-risk, disenfrancised populations. She has been an active collaborator in developing health promotion programs in the Greater Los Angeles area. Currently, Dame Alice is a Professor of Nursing Education at a local college in Los Angeles and continues to work with community-based organizations to develop productive partnerships, effective program delivery goals and measureable program outcomes.
