Biography: Karen Stone

 My name is Karen. I live in a small country town and work as a healer in a number of modalities, mostly Traditional Tibetan Medicine. It took me a while to connect with my path - I am 49 and a corporate refugee! But I now realise I have been light worker all my life, just without actively knowing it. I love to travel and while I mostly end up in India or Tibet,  I hope to see more of the rest of the world one day, Australia is a long way away from everything! Although raised a Presbyterian I have been a practising Buddhist for most of my adult life. What do I love? My family, my friends, my work, my home, reading, cooking, writing - especially poetry - and painting. Dogs, my garden, stillness, the ocean and lying on the carpet of flowers that cover the grasslands of Tibet when I spend time with the nomads. I love His Holiness Dalai Lama. And I love my computer becuase it is my portal to a much bigger world!
