Biography: samuel bonney

Samuel Bonney aka Bodhi Vajra aka "Same" aka ArithrianosXX in the NOW is the NOW manifestation of a continual process that has no beginning and/or end, so "biography" is not a good word, memoir might be better. Body "born" in Dallas,Tx, have never lived for long outside Texas, but made it to Austin as soon as i had a choice for college. Flunked out of colledge due to clinical depression and addiction, had a nice stay at a "rehab", no real treatment, just pill popping. Quit the pills and took a trip to Tashkent courtesy of my missionary parents, and then London and Paris, had two really powerful but ordinary experiences, and broke the back of the depression through acceptance and giving up. After that everything is gravy, i had passed through the valley of the shadow, and survived and slowly thrived. Had a stint serving in the Shambhala Army, but this made me feel trapped, so for 5 years i have sought solitude and to understand the "nature" of Dzogchen, which i recieved introduction to by Tulku Thupten R. in 2004. Have made several "vows" including Refuge, Boddhisattva, Upasaka, and Dzogchen, but to me the all boil down to just be KIND, to SELF as OTHER. original huh. I'm also the offical jester of the intent government, some people call it a press secretary. Update, it looks like i am reenlisting in the Shambhala Army, thanks to Carol.
