and here's another cute little fact, to go with your Wall St./Main St. dichotomy. in Japan, the income disparity between the average CEO and the average worker is only 25 times (it may be 28, i can't remember exactly 'cause it's a while since i heard that). in the US, it's over 400 times.

yup. when 1% of a country's population controls 90% of a country's wealth, time to do a little redistributin', i say. the Corporatists are kicking and screaming because Mr. President has proposed to raise their tax rate from 35% to 39.5%. wtuknowwhat! i said it's like a person sitting at a table loaded with a banquet feast (that they stole at gunpoint) complaining about a starving person asking for one grain of rice off their plate. Jon Stewart said it a little better a couple of nights ago. when the CEO of Subway restaurants complained that he needs $200,000/year to feed his family (wtuknowwhat! again), Stewart suggested he take his family to Subway, where $200,000 will get them 40,000 feet of food. hahahahahahahahaha! but since i'm Canadian, this is none of my business, really. hahahahahahahaha!
