Arithrianos: Gayle It does matter who you practice with, be careful but generally it is neccessary to practice for a while with a group to get a taste for what they are about, just trust your self and your wisdom, don't just be into groupthink, that is never helpful. My rule of thumb is if the group is about discovering the truth experientially it is good, if it about common belief and conformity it is bad.

bodhirose: You're right about a sangha to practice with. I have had that in the past and know how helpful it can be. I am searching for one. I am picky about who I practice with and who's leading the group. Does it matter? I'm "thinking" it does. Stop the thinking--start the doing? Breathe in--breathe out! Gayle

Arithrianos: Gayle,I agree keep breathing! I am now taking steps to revitalize but it will take some time, i am out of shape for serious meditation. I am probably going to finish up Sacred Path in February, so i have a lot to catch up on, but then i can practice Ashe. Hope you find some inspiration soon, you really should try some group though, it really does help to have people around practicing with you.

Arithrianos: Gayle, the Dralas are real, all kinds of spirits are real, they are just vibrationally different. One you vibrate highly enough you can interact with them, and "see" them. If you are really interested you need to go through the Heart of Warriorship program, to get to Sacred Path, where they explain how to interact with them. If there are money issues, the fees can be modified or waved, they are explicit about that, you just have to sit, a lot. Or you could attend one of the public feasts just to get a taste of what happens when the dralas decend.

So it is for me and the dharma protectors called drala, it is a shabhala "angel" kind of, but could be metaphorical. It is the vast energy the you have access to through Spirit.
