Dear Rouzanna surely will try to keep in touch if I visit Europe and I checked some pics of Armenia on google , it indeed in beautiful .Junie and Noreen pardon me for putting it wrongly ....
Rouzanna Vardanyan:
Dear Care, i am from Armenia, which is right on the border between Europe and Asia. We consider ourselves Europeans, while the rest of the world sees us within the Central Asia. Would this qualify?
It's a lovely country with plenty of locally grown fruits and vegetables, ancient manuscripts and sun. The creator of our alphabet (pretty much like cuneiform) saw the letters in his dream. We also claim we were to first to officially adopt Christianity as a State religion. As you may come across, we have a vast diaspora in the US and elsewhere.
If you decide to come, just let me know.
Mary Lynn:
Well,, if we are throwing ancestry there,, I am half Arapahoe and half cherokee on father's side, and when we roamed, pre-borders, it was Canada in the summer's and the United States in the winter for the arapahoe side.. so I guess.. I should say Native.. :)
I adore you too sweet sara!! and enjoy the snuggle with Junnie and Adriana!

Beautifully written Starshine! Being in a farming family, we don't have time to travel a lot, so I have not been much beyond my little spot here outside of Windsor.. Ontario is wonderful,, I get to hear stories from my neighbor who travels to Montreal a lot.. Maybe before my move I may try to take a drive through at least.. thank you so much for all this sharing everyone.. And Adriana! You weave such a beautiful portrait! just breathtaking.. Thank you.

Hello, Care,
I live in Southern California, was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, left there when I was 12 years old.
My Canadian roots had me connected with multitudes of cultures, French, Jewish, English, Irish ~ I suspect that is why I can do many dialects. (Irish being my favored, Doreen).
In my day, Old Montreal was looming for me and Catholicism reigned, Latin masses and all. I used to spend my collection money (15 cents) on candy on occasion ~ tisk tisk.
We lived in an area called "NDG" (Notre Dame De Gras and from our street you could see St. Joseph's Oratory, of course you could see St. Joseph's from many points in Montreal. (smiles)
"St. Joseph's Oratory is a great basilica with a giant copper dome built in honor of St. Joseph, patron saint of Canada. The massive edifice, high on the slopes of Mount Royale in Quebec, belies its simple origins as the dream of a humble lay brother named Brother Andr
Adriana:
Dear Alok, Madrid is a vibrant, hussle/bussle city. Just as big as Manhattan.
Dominic, Andalucia is alluring, sensual and very similar to Southern California indeed.
Spaniards built lots of parts of California. I can see you are a sea man this cities are sunny
and coast cities.
Italy is pure passion, Florence is touching Boticcelli's, Michelangelo, Davinci's ground, it is a dream.
Paris is my favorite I loose myself in that city and it has all, the hussle/bussle and the vibrant and uniqueness touch of Europe.
Mary Lynn:
Sara.. this is why I adore you.. Good belly laughs! Careforall.. I am living currently in Canada.. but my home is the States. I have lived in all but 5 of the United States.. (yep.. that includes hawaii)... I love Canada.. don't know what I am going to do without Timmy's and bag milk,, but I think I can adjust.. :) It is peaceful here, and NOT the great white north everyone thinks.. actually after living in Missouri winters, these are kind of a cake walk,, but I am not that far North.. Actually south of Detroit.. Thank you for the interest sweetie.. You are such a dear..
big hugs..

Sara, that explains why you did not know Jerry Seinfeld.
Kramer is his next door neighbor in a comedy here in the US called Seifeld. It is a half hour sitcom from the 1990's.

Care, what would you like to know? Ireland has gorgeous scenery, Dublin is a great city, small enough to walk around an intimate feel to it but has hustle and bustle too! people in the countryside always wave to you and say hello which is nice .... we have our own language though many don't speak it... Italy is lovely too I lived there for 3 years, loved some aspects of it though I found the emphasis on looks a bit much ... we're much more relaxed and laid back in Ireland ;-)
Hello:
Yes, Dom. Always :)
:
Sara, do give your polar bear Coca Cola?
Peace
Dom
Hello:
Well no, Care, I don't have a husband, just a polar bear ;)
The economy here is rather bad. We are no untouched by the current developement. I don't think anyone is. It has not struck me personally though but only because I don't have a job to lose and am happy with spending my days as I wish. Still, Sweden is beautiful. I think you would be positively chocked about the change of atmosphere if you live in a city in America. Sweden is... small. People here have their own concerns, their own measurements. In the states everything is big and drastic colourful and sometimes loud. Here it's more... subtle. I don't know how to put it better than that. Sweden has history. Lots of history scattered all over the place. Leftover sheds in the yellow fields... in the cities old and new buildings mixed and built upon. If you drive around out countryside you will find forests and fields and tracks in said forests and many small red cottages. Pine is common. Especially to the north. We have lots of lakes and peninsula.
Stockholm is a big city and has all the traits of a big city. All kinds of culture have gathered there. I've heard it described by tourists as "a big park with houses in" *giggle* It has huge traffic problems though.
What else can I say...? We have public healthcare, relatively high taxes, libraries that are open to everyone and so on.
I love hiking and there are oh so many places to do that in here.

Dom bro your many years ago is my present :-) , I feel like seeing atleast few places .. Europe/Hawaii

Adriana I too have many friends in European countries and watching it on TV /pictures etc Europe looks very tempting to visit . I like to tour natural beauty kind of place , beautiful streets etc the way you describe and I can feel what you are saying ...but for living I prefer a vibrant , hussle/bussle ,active kind of city (very used to India/NYC cant help dear) .
Adriana no plans to move right now but touring Europe is on the list for this year .
Adriana:
The world is in you, just love it but...
I adore Europe, just by touching it's ground. Every European country has its own magic. You actually live and feel each place. Every corner, ever street has a unique style. Smells surround the cities enveloping you completely.
I like living in Spain, lived there for a year. My favorite place to be. I go every summer and the smell of it just makes me want to go now.
In Ireland you have the best music and pubs. Ireland is so green and beautiful, you could drive hours through.
Noreen and U2 are from there.
Sweden, is fabulous! Stockholm is stunning.
Are you moving, dear Alok?
careforall:
Sara are you serious about polar beer (calling your hubby polar beer or something :-) ?) ...Sweden's economy also bad ..omg ...but its beautiful country so I will rule out chances of living there .
careforall:
Dear Mary which country are you from ? would love to hear more from you .
Hello:
Well, Care, the first thing you need to know about Sweden is that it's full of pineapple. I can barely get out of my apartment because of all the pineapple blocking the way. They sell it everywhere but no one wants to buy it. It has come to the point that we, the swedes suffer from a major Pineapple Crisis. The market has become so dominated by pineapple that no one wants to buy anything (pineapple) and no one has anything to buy pinapple with except for pineapple. So the economy has come to a standstill and all my neighbour suffer from nutritional ailments.
The second thing you need to know about are the polar bears. I keep one as a pet ;)
careforall:
Noreen Ireland is of special interest to me too ...offlate I hear a lot of good words for Ireland ...would like to know about it .
careforall:
Sara plz tell me something about Sweden/Europe in general , interms of culture / work environment / cost of living ...etc anything extra from you always appreciated .

I'm from Ireland, does that count as Europe? ;-)

Hello, Care! I'm from Sweden. What do you want to know?

Dr. Shweta do you see a striking similarity between Hema , Rekha , Aishwarya , Raveena and Mallika Sherawat they are all Scorpio according to Linda Goodman , all of them are very much liked by male infact dream girls are always Scorpios, very Tomboysih , very romantic but end up being cheated in love and find solace in Spiritualism .
careforall:
They say politicians and actors can never be judged or understood so yes big B may appear Libran or Virgo . Also its very important to try to peep behind big B'd onscreen and public persona and look into what he really is .
Some of his Libran characteristic is diplomacy , he never tries to be rude to anyone , Librans have art of love-making , tendency toward fickleness etc .
Dr. Shweta if you have to ask big B to read Linda Gooman and think about himself he secretly will smile at himself and say how Libran he has been all his life.
:
Thanks Doc, to be exact it was 1 minuter after 12:00 in the AM. I do feel a karmic balance in every endeavour I have. My numerology says so. As for the hunter, I do like to analyze something before it becomes real to me.
Very good deduction.
How much do I owe you for the house call?
God Bless You Dear
Peace
Dom
shweta:
I know astrology so I dont think Amitabh Bachhan is Libran at all.He is a Virgo, his analytical sense , sticking to detail habbits are all virgoans.
shweta:
Hi Mr Calucci, Sun wrt Nirayanansha was in Libra on Nov 1 , 1954 and moon was in sagittarius with Dragon s' head (A node of moon). So if u read Linda goodman 'Now' and try observing characteristic of Libra and sagittarius , u will find those in you more than scorpionic features.:-D
Well, all this was on lighter note.
In any case, I dont want to advocate or force once system on other .Everyone is more than welcome to believe what they are already continuuing with.I was talking about just my opinion only.
careforall:
Dr. Shweta I have heard lot of girls complaining that Linda Goodman is not accurate about Girls but Guys , maybe becuae the opposite sex always has better observation and I too feel Linda was more right about guys than girls. Take any character from Obama , Deepak Chopra , Mahatma Gandhi , Amitabh Bachhan , Salman Khan etc and then try to tally it with Linda's book I am sure you will be amazed .
shweta:
That is correct per se , her description of characrteristics of every sun sign is good but problem here is whom you are considering Libran might not be Libran indeed.Deepak Chopra wud be a Libran only if he is born during 12-oct to 12 nov unlike stated by western.
:
Dr. Gulati, I was born on November 1st 1954. I was born in Ardmore Oklahoma, home of the scorpion. According to my mother before I was born one ran right between her legs. She said that house was filled with them. She was born October and is a Libran.
Peace
Dom
careforall:
Thanks Dr. Shweta I totally agree with the logic you have provided , vedic science about it sounds more logical and scientific but I find Linda Goodman's description about characteristics of a person based on Sun Sign very relevant and surprised by her correctness. Have you observed Deepak Chopra in videos or his thought process it is in total conformity with Libran sunsign:- http://www.cyberspacei.com/englishwiz/library/names/zodiac/libra.htm .
shweta:
I am supposed to be a Libran by sun sign in western....there is nothing of Librans in me .I am a classical analytical Virgo as suggested by Vedic. If I was a libran I shud have been a Diplomatic but I am very straight-forward becuz my ascendant is Leo (which overpowers libra in presentation) and my moon sign is cancer imparting me intuitive abilities and strong sensitivities.
:
I read the Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield at least four of them. Some books by Esther and Jerry Hicks about Abraham and Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsche. Cosmic Code by Heinz Pagel, the Da Vinci Code.
Peace
Dom
neptunezgrl:
I own many of Linda's books! I love them :)
shweta:
Nope! Because sun doesnt change sharp on 23th as stated by western astrology.Rather as shown in vedic astrology Nirayanasha decides more about the sign of Sun rather than sayanasha followed by western.
So if sun is told to be 23 sept to 23 october by Libra thru western astrology, it is claimed to be in libra from 15 october -15 november now a days and changes date every ten years. While someone born on Ist november considers oneself to be scorpio in western , but wud be considered by vedic as Libran.
While western keep date fixed as 23rd all over, vedic actually takes care of changes in sun s situation.
Moreover your persoanlity is an outcome of your ascendant( constellation situation is east at the time you were born) , sun sign and moon sign.So it is a lot more complex than Linda goodman can explain.

One of the best books I have ever read and find it to transcend times and ages in its authencity and corectness . Please share you views .
Starshine:
Great discussion Care!
It is interesting to discuss so intellectually and analytically the intuitive center of the "Inside Knowledge" that ~ to me, thrives on non-judgment, non-analytical, non-intellectual.
To disect and suspect negates the intent. This is how I see it.
To know, just because you know. To trust, just because you trust. To believe, just because you believe. This is where my soul is based. The old statement "take what is true for you and leave the rest" applies in my mind.
I've had moments of intuition that were impressive spiritually and I've been witness to and part of the experience with others. There are wonderful spiritual levels that we can reach when we relax and float with the magic.
Such is a Starshine's outlook,

Dear Rouzanna thanks for replying and your views/thoughts are very similar to mine , I am also quite critical in judging such people . I feel miracles happen to people only who let them happen to them , critical minds like ours who live and breathe modernity cant experience it so easily . But then I am specially amazed by the general views about world or country or something ( not related to person ) these people tell and they come to be so true .
Like the person I am talking about almost predicted the economic doom we are seeing few years back and though she didnt give such details but 2009-10 was the year she predicted things would completely turn.
Let me know your views or share your experiences .
Rouzanna Vardanyan:
Dear Care, I do believe that such persons exist. They are widespread in my culture. Some of them are really good. I have witnessed miracles, several created for their clients (very educated persons, by the way). I have questions, though. What must be our criteria to judge over what they are telling us? Is it true? Is it one of the possible realities, that they are reveiling? How much of our critical thinking should we apply to change our lives in accordance with their foretellings, if we choose to do so? And on the top of everything, what personal and collective results are we expecting from their activities?
Share your answers, if you have them, and think of them, if you don't. by the way, I have many others, as well as answers to some of them. So we can at some point generate a discussion.
Love.

Adriana I would like to listen from you guys than tell my own story, but yes I strongly have started believing .

Thanks Mary and Sharmishtha .
I know of a lady who can foretell future in India for her predictions , she is in her late 30s and is very famous and is visited by even prime ministers .She doesnt know any kind of astrology , jyotish or any kind of science of future telling but her predictions her perfect . I didnt use to believe in her as I never myself visited her but offlate I have started believing in her. I used to hear murmur in my house about some of the things she used to predict and used to laugh and even get angry at people who used to believe her but offlate I think she has some inner knowledge .
I woud like to know if you guys believ in it ?
Mary Lynn:
Blessings Careforall! supported and appreciated.. In Kabbalah it says "God counts a woman's tears". This is to mean that these knowledge's come to us through our hearts, and God made women to know truth when we hear it.. He counts our tears because we don't have to really learn these things to know them.. Search the heart, and it is already there..
loving hugs.. and looking forward to your posting..

I am educated with all degrees , use science, technology and financial skills in my work , read internet , watch TV - they give me knowledge offcourse and I used to think thats all one needs to know.
But then I have come across people who dont have much degrees , some ladies who appear ignorant housewives - their knowledge seems amazing to me .
I want to share some miraclous experiences I had recently with few such people which makes me a believer again .
