People take cricket as if it will give them roti, kapda and makaan (food, clothes and shelter) than mere entertainment to rather forget about all three for a while . Perhaps this IS its attraction - makes people forget for a while their worries on roti, kapra and makaan count. Hope you are enjoying your days to the full!

  meadysmusings: Aye Harb dont you think the whole of India is just a tad bit too obssessed with cricket! :) Of recently I even heard this insipid Bollywood tune (I figure) mostly in English with people singing English in Indian accents about their obssession for the game!

  Harrr: Krishana said to Arjuna in Bhagvad Gita: "Arjuna, do your work but dont expect that the results will be always as you intended. Because the result will be decided by Me." Now, Krishana was not some superhuman being to decide upon the results on his own whim and fancy. Through these words Ved Vyasa must be telling people that besides our intent there is an other process going on along side which affects the results. And that is in fact what now-a-days is being called design or intelligent design. In my above book I have explained just this.
