Try: Click on "My Home" tab. From there click on "Messages" tab. You should then be able to "Compose" by typing in the recipient's user name.
Because there is so much happening on this site every moment, it experiences bugs. If you still cannot send a message, you can contact support@intent.com. But my best answer in this case is Patience. . . Intent is always improving.

Dear Raz,
I have been on Intent for over a year. So far, I have not seen any evidence of discrimination whatsoever. I have met a wise, compassionate and supportive community. I have also encountered some technical problems. Have you already sent an e-mail to the helpdesk saying that you are not able to respond to blogs? In my experience, Intent's customer service is very customer friendly.
