Tarun,
I agree: Pain, discipline, sacrifice, nerve, will and determination--and a little muscle--are the ingredients for achieving anything worthwhile in this life. Monks in Shaolin monasteries achieve unparalleled martial skill and mental powers by training six hours a day in martial arts, six hours a day in meditation. All their lives. Incredible dedication.
It's a far cry from the claims made by the authors of 'The Secret:' Just believe and everything will unfold before you. One might as well wish upon stars.
Does anything worth anything in this life come easily?
Bob
