Not at all! Go to learn about yourself and our world, find the right ones, and you may have great teachers!! (I did!)

Stephanie,
FWIW, I will give you my thoughts on this.
I see nothing wrong with wanting to "see a psychic or other medium" -- as it is natural to be curious. The way I see it is that the psychic or medium is actually only reading a PROBABILITY for a future event, not an absolute "this WILL happen" prediction. So, to me, as long as you (or anyone) is going in with that understanding, then no harm is done in knowing what probable outcome another person is seeing. It is just more information to add to whatever other information you already have. I would not base any of my own decisions solely on what any other would have to say, but just like looking up the weather patterns before taking a trip, it can be a very good idea to have as much information as possible.
Many others have other ideas and opinions about psychics and mediums, ranging from thinking it is all just "bunk," to believing that it is absolutly the "end all," but to me it is just like anything else -- there is "good" and "bad" in everything, so basically I live by the "take what works for me and leave the rest" philosophy.
Hope that helps you a bit on your question.
Lovin' Livin'

there is nothing wrong with that at all. i find strength in others in my program of drug and alcohol recovery. i don't always agree with all that is said at meetings, but, for the most part, the possitive energy i receive from a meeting can give me options on how to handle or not handle a situation. ive never searched out a medium, but, if i were i would have to make sure i am compatible with that mediums' belief system. it may be advised that you seek more than one medium. it is important that we all remember that following different maps will make a journey much more enriching. welcome change in the scenery.
