    • darry: Comment I don't want to sound harsh but why does this have to be a bad news, it's not like you're sending your parents to jail. Assisted living facilities happen to be designed in all concerned to meet elderly people's needs, your parents may have a happy life there: they will interact with other old people, they'll have hobbies and activities, they'll have some time to spend it together receiving frequent visits from you. I don't see anything wrong in this picture. I also talk from experience as my both grandparents live in one of the retirement communities Lancaster Pennsylvania for almost three years and they are happy there.

    • AMORIFER-ALDEN: Comment Dear friend Lyn thank god you have been a perfect example of using your great intuition for the benefit of mankind as well as your sacred family and obviously yourself. I admire your wise spirit! Thank you for sharing! Ezequiel An ancient loving magus.

    • debraesq: Comment I wish you love and light. We will all be there some day and at every stage of life we have something of value to offer.

    • 2Talents: Comment Lynn; Placing my father in an Alzheimers Unit was one of the most difficult decisions our family ever made, but ultimately one of the best. You have my loving support and prayers for strength in this difficult time. Wishing you a "puppylicious" day!

    • peter.hill: Comment I think and feel that being a loving presence or a loving witness is one of the best things we can do as people face and deal with various challenges on their journey. At the end of my time here in this space and time, I want to be able to say that my quality of love and presence is divine.

    • lahnjules: Comment Fully supported with best wishes...I can relate to your intent as I am dealing with my ill mother and her living situation.
