Tiffany is a board certified family and women's health nurse practitioner that has been practicing, promoting and speaking on health and wellness for over 17 years. She has focused on women's health as a mother-baby, labor and delivery nurse for 8 years and as a nurse practitioner for over 2 years. She is the Founder and COO of A Maven 7 Company whose mission is to educate and inspire others to find their personal breakthrough by focusing on the mind, body and spirit.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a double minor in Public Health and Human Development with a concentration in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She obtained a Master's of Science in Nursing with a dual certification in Family Health and Women's Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her graduate research focused on barriers to HIV preventive health among African American adolescent females. She is a trained HIV/AIDS educator of 16 years. She has worked with at risk women in the prison system to acclimate them back into society through health and wellness activities. She has worked with several organizations developing programs for wellness conferences including "Speaking of Women's Health" a national conference that served over 1,000 women in Winston Salem, NC. Other engagements include the BET Women’s Health Symposium, CIAA Health Symposium and the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Teen Health Symposium.
Tiffany livens up any crowd with her "down to earth" approach and empowering focus on mind, body and spirit. She believes in evaluating individual belief systems surrounding health and wellness, overcoming obstacles, to actively care for the body (temple) and achieving it through spirituality. When you walk away from her message you will feel renewed, energized and throwing away that baggage you have been carrying!
