Biography: Patricia Raskin

A pioneer and trailblazer for positive media messaging; author, inspiring public speaker, entrepreneur, and visionary broadcast producer and host, Patricia Raskin, M.Ed. has given voice through the airwaves to help people overcome obstacles and challenges in their lives to help make their dreams come true!   Before it was popular to use media as the platform to deliver messages of optimism and hope for the future, Patricia took to the airwaves and led the way with her “positive living” television programs in a small town in Massachusetts in the mid-1980s. She was convinced that if she could deliver the message and the methods to an audience of viewers and listeners, that she could be the catalyst for positive change in the lives of others – a vision that is her life’s work, and that which gave birth to the Positive Living™ radio talk show franchise, one of the nation’s most popular, lifestyle destination radio programs – online, on air, and on demand.   Along the way, she has written two books, Success, Your Dream and You and Pathfinding: Seven Principles for Positive Living, produced and hosted over 500 television shows and documentaries interviewed nearly 900 radio guests, and written 700 newspaper columns. Her message is simple: You can turn your obstacles into opportunities and challenges into solutions and make your dreams come true.   Her programs have aired on FOX, PBS affiliates, Citadel Broadcast Company, WTKF and the NPR affiliate, Public Radio East in North Carolina.
