Let's Get NAKED! How to Strip Your THOUGHTS

 Hello Hello Helloooo,

i can't believe it's been over a month since I've blogged. Of course I spend every day thinking, "Patricia you need to write something" but I was to busy doing what i love and living -musing in the flesh. The past two months felt like being on a shopping spree of the mind with life experiences. Every day has been like the best day of my life even during the weeks where things got a bit scary or when I packed maximum 20 hours of sleep in or less. But even though I am having so much fun of course I got worn out. It felt that every day turned into another beautiful OUTFIT stitched together by all the amazing experiences I had day by day but I had no time better said made no time to take off the other outfits so I put them on over the ones that where already there.

And then the last couple of days though happy I still felt like Ralphie ParkersCharacter in A Christmas Story when wearing that giant ski-thermal overall not being able to move. And this morning taking off my PJ's as I was walking to the bathroom with my head full of THOUGHTS I thought,

"Oh man how awesome would it be to also take OFF my THOUGHTS good or bad like clothes"!! And throw them into the hamper some of them just out the window or into the trash.

How awesome would that be. To get your mind NAKED,
New-Born Baby Fresh every morning. Waking up to your day, boyfriend, wife, cat, dog, children, mess, surroundings, your status, YOURSELF for the first time. Without any past, your eyes, heart wrapped in the freshness of the PRESENT the NOW...how would that feel???

Now let's look at YOUR MIND! What is it wearing right now?

Is it still wearing last years winter coat?
Is it wearing a bikini or speedos even though it's November?
Why is it wearing polyester even though you love cashmere?
Is it wearing shoes that are way to small or too big?
Is it wearing a tie even though it wants to wear a pink dress?
Is it wearing second hand clothes even though it wants to wear awesome designers?
Is it wearing hand me downs?
Is it wearing someone elses clothes?
Is it wearing torn rags?
Is it wearing a gown from 1841?
Is it wearing dirty, moth and flee ridden clothes?
Is it wearing natural-green fabrics?
Is it wearing something super conservative though it loves clothes from the 70is?

Exercise:
Draw a GIANT CLOSET or write Closet of the My MIND on a big piece of paper and pin it on a juicy big blank space of wall in your home.
Then take each thought that comes up and see how it makes you feel and then turn it into a piece of clothes. (if you aren't in to clothes pick a tool, or furniture)
Be very specific when describing the thought to yourself and turning it into the piece of clothes. Then draw or write the item on a little posted and put/pin/stick it in that blank space/closet. Do that for how ever long you like, 5 min, an hour, a day, a week... you decide.

NOW look at your CLOSET OF THE MIND.
Is there any clothes you want to get rid off. Wouldn't you want to get NAKED every now and then? Would you got to bed with all those clothes on and wouldn't you start to get stinky, stuffy, stiff after a while? Do you like what you wear? As alwaysdon't judge any of it, if you've been wearing hand me downs or shoes that have been too small, then just acknowledge it and negotiate with yourself. Take the piece of clothes out of your MIND -take them off...you know you want to so you can!!

I've read that Goldfish only have a memory span of 3 sec. whether that is true I don't know and I honestly don't care because it's something that only a Goldfishwould ever truly know or not know:) but I love the possibility of it.
In a way if I was a Goldfish I'd strip my self of my thoughts every 3 seconds. How awesome and refreshing is that!!!

I don't know about you but I'm gonna go STRIP and get NAKED and give the PRESENT the NOW the honor it deserves.
