DNC 2008: New Video Intents

From: Olivia Kuhn-Lloyd | Posted: Thursday, September 4th, 2008

I talked, Twittered and blogged about some of the people I met last week at the Democratic National Convention. Here's a quick video tour of the minds and personalities I came across.

Arianna Huffington and the Huffington Post sponsored a wellness lounge with yoga, massage and vegan and organic snacks. It was a wonderful respite from the general agitation of the convention.

You can read my post on urban environmentalism, or as Majora Carter says in this clip, "Greening the ghetto," here

Environmental advisor Aimee Christensen has worked with Google and the Clinton administration to reduce their carbon footprints. Imagine what she could do for you.

Most of us are familiar with the bold, minimalist Obama image. Here, artist Shephard Fairey shares his intent: art that makes people think.

Writer, futurist and Intent Voice, Barbara Marx Hubbard, was at the convention to share her plan to create a National Solutions Council in the Office of the Vice President to address critical issues in different sectors.

Lastly, I spoke with Mary Keith, an Obama supporter and Ohio delegate, who came to Denver to start the change.

So that's the guy who created the Obama poster. I love these short videos.
