An Evening With Tom Kenyon

Ghandharva: Ancient Sacred Musicians

Sunday, November 12, 1995
at the Crown Point Hall of the Nevada County Board of Realtors

FLASH!!! Tom Kenyon was interviewed by Haines Ely on his "Earth Mysteries" show on KVMR 89.5 FM Nevada City/99.3 FM Sacramento at Noon on 6 Self-Existing Owl Moon (23 October 1995).

In the ancient Vedic cosmology of India, a group of celestial beings were described in various sutras or sacred texts. This class of beings sang and played music for the gods and goddesses. These sacred musicians were called Ghandarvas, and their sole purpose for being was to entertain and to sing praises to the Divine.

Join us for a fascinating and uplifting evening as musician-researcher Tom Kenyon transports us to the realm of the Ghandarvas.

In this evening's presentation, Tom will tell us about some startling research, including information that love actually makes DNA more orderly and coherent. He will then teach the group how to tone the emotion of love, move it into an expression of sound, and then communicate it to others. As a group, we will create a harmonic choir, toning the emotion of love. Numerous reports indicate that healing often occurs just by being in the presence of a harmonic choir.

After the preparatory work, Tom will recite the names and invoke the presence of the archangelic realm and the various deities and saints from numerous traditions. These beings will then interdimensionally enter the space, and we, as a group, will sing to them our love and gratitude. In effect, we shall become Ghandarvas raised to the celestial realm and in the presence of the Divine.

The Ghandarva ceremony is a deep and moving experience.
