New Frontiers had several active groups. The original New Frontiers group
was located in the San Francisco Bay area (with most activity in the Pleasanton,
Livermore and Dublin, Calif. area) and had outstanding programs for about
7 years. New Frontiers of the Gold Country serves the greater Sacramento,
California area (with most activity in the Nevada City and Grass Valley, Calif.
area).
New Frontiers (NFGC) On February 26, 1995, Gil and Carol Gray and Barbara
Rawles travelled to Grass Valley to attend a meeting to assist Bruce and Nancy
Rawles expand New Frontiers to include a new chapter in the Gold Country.
New Frontiers of the Gold Country adheres to the Constitution and Bylaws of
New Frontiers in the S.F. bay area, but has its own board of directors, meetings,
etc. A few of the original board members attended that meeting, although the
names and faces have changed over the years. We share a dedication to volunteer
our time to bring vital essential information to our community, and by osmosis,
to the rest of the world.
We got off to a great start with a talk by Gregg
Braden in Grass Valley on July, 9th, 1995 entitled: Mystery of Mysteries:
Ancient Texts of Tomorrow. We had about 100 people in attendance and it was
enjoyed by all. Gregg is a researcher in the field of Sacred
Geometry. Gregg had given several talks for the Bay Area New Frontiers
group and his career has flourished since then. We tend to try to bring new
people to the community, but when we get someone of Gregg's caliber, we make
exceptions for repeat speakers! :-)
