I'd like to thank drudgereport.com for observing the Supreme Council and Ayatollah Khamenei's news blackout on Iranian protests in the past few days. Fascinating that a website so vociferously opposed to the dangers of Iran's nuclear posturing (and its clear threat to Israel) should post nearly nothing on this watershed event, ignoring change that could ensure security throughout the entire Middle East. The event was mentioned in passing at the bottom of its third column. Recall John' McCain's "bomb bomb bomb Iran," quip, as though indiscriminately killing Iran's population was the only real solution. Google "plantation owners tech" to get an idea of the ingredients in this noxious recipe, this inciting natives to kill each other to expel their frustrations, instead of really talking about what can be done to advance humanity. In fact, God forbid that people should actually talk. Matt Drudge's strict observation of the Ayatollah's news blackout makes you wonder if we've both been played, Iranians, Americans, by inflamatory rhetoric of those cynically using danger as a wedge issue by those determined to continue to cloak themselves in the respectability of public religious observation. My heart goes out to all those in Iran who are so intent on showing Iran's own George W. Bush the exit door. If we can do it, they certainly can, too. As I've said elsewhere, may their version of W float away on a sea of trash. I am sending protesters in Tehran love and prayers. My God's light shine upon them in their endeavors.

This made my night stand still for several moments with sadness. When will we realize globally that we are all praying to the same god, no matter whichever name we use?
