Hmmm, what do I want you to know about me?
I'm from the Heartland of America, a decent place in one of those 'fly-over' states the coasts like to ignore.
I have two grown daughters, both married, and a grandson. One of my proudest moments is when my eldest walked down the aisle this summer to a Bollywood ballad wearing a bright red dress. Who says Midwesterners are out of touch w/ world culture!?! ;-)
I have tons of hobbies including belly dancing w/ my daughter. I've been involved in spiritual pursuits since childhood and find the subject of 'God' in all His/Her manifestations endlessly fascininating. I do yoga and garden and sew and I'd love to meditate if I could turn my head off long enough!
I've been doing serious healing work the past year and am expanding my life in mind-boggling new directions. I'm a poster child for 'humor as a therapeutic healing tool' and realized it feels really great to laugh, once I learned how. I take myself entirely too seriously but I'm working on it.
I believe in the absolute policy of Accept and Understand: just accept what you don't understand and try to understand what you can't accept. If you wrap your head around it and open your heart to it you'll do a lot less damage to yourself and others and maybe even promote healing for all.
