Biography: Kelly J. Munroe

Firstly, I have to thank my friend, Shasheen...he told me to get out there; and, to "Just do it!"  Thank you, Shasheen.  Thank you, for giving me the courage to be vunerable and open.  Thank you, for your wisdom and for turning me on to the Community at large.  Thank you, for connecting with me. Well, I'm Kelly.  I'm a single mom of three: David, Michael, and Samuel.  I count it both a blessing and a privilege to be their mom.   I'm a former teacher of Spanish, an Exceptional Student Education Support Facilitator, and an ESE teacher.  I've a B.A in Psychology, from Florida International University; and, I love learning other languages...I'm currently studying Madarin.  Also, my sons and I are survivors of domestic abuse. It'll be four years, this fall, since our deliverance.  Not a day goes by, that I don't thank the Divine Source, for my family's freedom and peace of mind.   I'm now very thankful for Intent.com, the Chopra Family, and the Community (i.e., all of you).  It is my intent, to reach out to you all.  Daily, I look forward to reading your intents.  The unity this site generates, is awsome.  At this present time, the boys and I are set to embark on a new adventure.  I'm moving the family back to my home state of Arizona.  There, I'll be studying naturopathic and Oriental medicine.  We're all excited about the move...which, should be some time in the summer.  As it is with many across the nation, we too have experienced our share of financial woe...it was just a few months ago, that we were homeless.  I'm very thankful, to have overcome...we now live in a nice little apartment.  The boys are in a good school, and we've been blessed with a lot of support from our neighbors.  I've been without a job now, for nine months.  I believe, that this too, will soon change.  I'm in the process of attaining my CNA license for both the states of Florida and Arizona.  Yes, God, the Universe, or whomever you worship...is good...very good indeed. I'm here to be an encouragement to others.  My mission (thank you, Shasheen), is to be a source of inspiration for other women.  My goal is to one day, establish my own wellness center for women and children.  This will be an all inclusive center of healing and wellness.  My center will provide counseling, a variety of naturopathic and Oriental healing techniques, shelter, childcare, and activities and education all geared toward the empowering of women and their families.  That is my vision.  Well, that's about it.  I love and support you all.  Peace.
