Five books to stimulate your creativity.

These five books will fan your creative fire. Each one got my imagination racing and inspired me to get to work.

1. Virginia Woolf, A Writer's Diary (I'm a huge Woolf fan, and have read this book at least four times, maybe more)

2. Christopher Alexander, et al., A Pattern Language (I can't stop talking about this book)

3. Scott McCloud, Understanding Comics: The Invisible Art (I have no interest in comics, at all, but was exhilarated by this book)

4. Bob Dylan, Chronicles: Volume One (and I'm not even a fan of Bob Dylan's music)

5. Edward Tufte, The Visual Display of Quantitative Information, 2nd edition (very dry title, but a fascinating, beautiful book)
