I guess the best way is to use meditative techniques and live in the now to the best of one's ability. I look for meaning and purpose all the time, and often, I don't find it. Meaning and purpose, I find that there is meaning and purpose in everything, but if you strive too hard to find it, it gets to be too serious and starts acting hard to find. ((((((Hi Bob)))))we've not shared before, but I just wanted to say, if you are "looking" all the time, that is probably why you feel it is a waste of time and energy. Spiritual meaning, life meaning does not always show its self in the " peak experiences", such as our "desire-being" craves. It is not always that glamorous! It is there in that, but also in the tiny everyday gifts of breathing, walking( if you can walk, or if you can't, some other physical blessing/life), children, nature, water, food, caring...the list is endless, if you take the time to notice. Myself, if I can't see it, it usually means different things. One, could be stuck in some old habit yet to identify, energy feeding back. Or it could be a health/weather/planetary/moon/consciousness cycle that I'm not tuned in with yet. Not that I know it all, but I have ideas that I like to share...((((((((Gregory)))))))knows....hee hee...I do go on sometimes, but just because...I believe in the healing of God's Love.
