Biography: Fiona Phillips

Living with my husband and two children in South Yorkshire, UK. I lost my parents over the last few years which has left a great sadness in me but my children and the man I love inspire me every day. We live in a village and due to the lack of local childcare, I run two home businesses - Murdering The Text (murder mystery scripts for theatre groups, fundraisers and schools) and Haven Crystal Gifts (semi precious gifts and jewellery). I am a hopeful novelist, working on a novel at the moment that has been in my head for many years. I do my best to remain optimistic about the world and it's inhabitants but have to admit that the last few years have been, to use a cliched phrase, an emotional roller coaster, bringing good people and some not so good, damaged individuals into my life. I try to see it as a path I have to walk and enjoy the journey.
