Biography: Farhad Tavassoli

I'm a 35 year-old divorced man from Phoenix, Arizona. I joined Intent.com on August 15, 2009 to complement my spiritual journey through Life. An urban planner by training, I recently became intimately familiar with the challenges shared by many others in this troubled economy. I'm happy to share with you my experiences through this challenging period. I believe there is a higher purpose to each life situation, whether positive or negative. I foster this attitude by studying the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, Ernest Holmes and other figures from various spiritual traditions, both ancient and contemporary. The most valuable insight I have gained so far is that true change begins from within and not without. In the immortal words of Mahatma Ghandi, "Be the change you wish to see in the world."
