Nesting

Breakfast this morning was a double espresso and a chocolate croissant. Dinner tonight will be a hunk of aged cheese a bar of dark chocolate and a bottle of red wine. Why Because I am in France. I often ask myself why we pick up certain habits and do certain things while traveling that we would never ever do at home. I can buy cheese chocolate croissants crusty baguettes and red wine on any

On the 18 hour bus journey up the Panamerican highway which pretty much runs up the west coast of the double continent from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego in the far south of Ch

Taj Mahal and more

After surviving an attempt to get a bribe from the securitytypes at the airport in Kathmandu I arrived back in India and drove to Agra.
Almost Home

Just a quick message to let everyone know that I'll be home in a couple of days. I'm in Osijek at the moment and visited Vukovar today. What the people there lived through you wouldn't believe. It's taken time to find the best way for me to get home. I'm taking a train from Zagreb to Frankfurt on Monday night and fly out of Frankfurt on Tuesday night. I get home on Thursday the 27th at 6.25 in th

If it's not on the river it's on the bridge which starts with a sand trap. The
