As I've taught my kids when they were afraid: your bravery is just as big and powerful as your fear. All they had to do was reach out and embrace their bravery and the fear would slowly dissipate. They're learning that fear is just another item on the menu.

I wish there where more Grown-ups in this country. For the unbridled anger at one man leads me down the path of being ashamed of not only being human but of our country. I hope we rise out of this sludge an take a look around and know we ALL are in this together and it is time to face our fear.

As a conscious player in the field of human experience I am able to recognize that when I am running on fear the presence of crisis is self-imposed. By that, I mean my fearful viewpoint on the topic what makes it a crisis at all. I find that accessing my higher self, God or higher power, gives me a little perspective. Once I have perspective on the fear, the crisis quickly deflates and I see the topic for what it really is. Once I see the truth beyond the fear, I've turned a crisis into an opportunity. Hence, in the Chinese language the character for "crisis" and "opportunity" are the same.

Change is constant and stirring fear gets us know where. I really wish our leaders could wake up to this. I feel so much more confident in Sen. Obama's ability to deliver solutions and help us move out of this fear fueling style of leadership. It is time for us to grow up and come together for positive solutions that benefit many more.

In this time of economic and political uncertainty, I feel called to trust in the evolution of the world, in the evolution of me. I am grateful for your remarks on the unhealthy image of God you wrote about Deepak, sadly, this unhealthy image of God, as you well know, is held by many Christians. Jesus proclaimed a God who loves us unconditionally, a God who supports us and is with us in everything. The Bhagavad Gita (Arjuna's relationship with Lord Krishna) proclaims that God is our friend. This is a time to truly let Bhakti Yoga be a guide to dealing with trouble and devote ourselves with love to a God who always loves us.
